TIMARU HOSPITAL
SCARCITY OF DOCTORS. Press Association. TIMARU, May 19. Unmarried and unsettled doctors appear to be scarce. The Timaru Hospital Board have been unable to hear of one, and to day decided to telegraph to tbs resident surgeon, lately resigned, to return for a year. A proposal to erect a house for a married resident was favourably received. Tho honorary medical staff offered to carry on, but hy the casting vote of the chairman tho board decided to telegraph. The board has under consideration the position of a dental ward for outpatients.
