A SHUNTER’S DEATH
POSITION OF POINTS QUESTIONED. Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 18. An inquest was opened this morning in regard to the death of David Peter Leo Donovan, who was killed as the result of railway- engines colliding on Friday night. Mr Hanlon, appearing for the signalman in Dunedin yard, said a deal might turn on whether tho signals and points were as they should have been, wherefore, ho applied for an adjournment in order to examine the locus in quo and so he prepared to crossexamine witnesses. An adjournment was granted until Wednesday.
