SEA PLANES AND SUBMARINES. tly Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received March 16, 10.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. The Navy Estimates include £80,972 as a first instalment for the construction of ships to carry seaplanes. It is stated that the plane-carrier will act as a mother-ship to submarines. Aviators will thence scout old loport wirelessly for the purpose of directing the operations of submarines.
