Mr J. Dunbar, fonnorly of Ohristdhurch, and now of Invercargill, has received word from London that he has been elected an Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers, a distinction held by comparatively few mechanical engineers in the Dominion. The postal authorities advise that the R.M.S. Marama, which sailed from Sydney on Monday for Auckland, is bringing Australian mails, also an English mail via Naples.
