The “Daily Mail’ states that Mr Marconi, by means of wireless, lighted a lamp at a distance of six miles, and also telephoned a distance of 100 miles. A WIRELESS TELEPHONE. - (Times— Sydney "Sun" Special Cables.), (Received February 11, 4.50 p.m.) LONDON, February 10. Mr Marconi expects to equip the Aquitania (the new Cunard steamer) with a. wireless telephone possessing a radius of 300 miles. [The Aquitania was launched on April 21st, 1913. She is of. 48.000 tons.]
