Referring to Shdckletbri’s "’hew expedition he said they would bring back material of lasting scientific importance. .He eulogised Mawson’s meteorological work, and has reference to the Commonwealth retaining the wireless station at. Macquarie Islands was received with cheers., Lieut. Shackleton said he was taking four geologists and four other scientists.
