An inventor has designed, an. alarm for automobiles with the object of discouraging the car thief. It is claimed that tampering with the car in any manner without first using the key which controls the device releases the alarm to ring for ' forty-eight hours, short-circuit and ignition wires, and turns off the petrol. Since it is claimed that the alarm cannot bo stopped until two whole days have passed, a thief could not get very far with his stolen oar.
