CUSTOMS ANOMALIES
Press Association. DUNEDIN, February 9. This evening three deputations waited on the Hon, F, M, B. Fisher, Minister for Customs. They represented the hat manufacturers, piano importers, and leather importers. Tho questions raised were of a highly technical character, involving decisions under tho tariff, and alleged grievances against the findings of tho Customs expert in London. The Minister, after hearing a full statement of tho case on behalf of the deputations, promised to make inquiry into the matters brought under his notice.
