EASILY BEATS TASMANIA.
(Received February 9, 9.10 p.m.) SYDNEY, February 9. New South Wales defeated Tasmania by an innings and _ 180 runs. New South Wales., in their first innings, made 451 (Macartney 110, Andrews 67). In the howling Robinson took two wickets for 84 runs, Myers four for 132 and Raton four for 129. Tasmania in their second innings made 128 (Robinson 21, Hawson 33, Paton 19). In Hi© bowling Mailey took four wickets for 15 runs, Scott four for 20, Granney 1 one for 19 and Berrie one for 21.
