Monday. The members of the Church of Engi land held a very successful naval bazaar in the Druids’ Hall on Friday and Saturday. It was opened on Friday by the Vcn. Archdeacon Comins, and proved financially a great success. Tho stallholders were:—Produce, Misses C. and M. Woodman; lollies. Mrs E. Cole: handkerchiefs. Misses Richards and Dunckley; shooting gallery, Mr R. Bilderbeck; jumble, Mesdames Coming and Warden; fairy, Miss Wickliffe; plain sewing, Mesdames C. B. Robinson and J. Richardson; men’s, Mrs Tilling and Miss McWilliams; refreshments, Mrs Day. Mr McKay, of the railway staff, ig leaving Shannon, and his position will be filled by Mr Jackson.
