The death is reported of .Mr John Wolstenholmo, which occurred at Hast-,, ings on Thursday. Deceased, who was rerv widely known and highly esteemcd 'throughout Hawke's Bay, was for many Tears headmaster of tbo district school at Port Ahuriri. After quitting the Education Board’s service the late Mr Wolstenholme commenced a bush ness at Onga Ouga, but failing health compelled him to relinquish it, and he returned to Napier to live. He lately acted as relieving teacher for the Education Board, and whilst taking •'pari' in the physical training class ' Hastings had a seizure,. death, lowing as stated. .
