AUSTRALIAN MAIL SERVICE TO CEASE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright SYDNEY, December 19. From July next the Messageries Maritimes mail service with Australia will cease, and will be replaced by a. service in which the carriage of cargo will be the primary consideration. The vessels to bo employed will be those now engaged in Marseilles-Ton-kin route, and will roach Sydney and Noumea via Colombo, Batavia, and Brisbane.
