The Kaiser, in a speech at a reception. at Munich, said: —“It was the will of Almighty God to sow upon the bloody field of battle seed which had borne such glorious fruits. It certainly was just as solemn a question to consider whether wo were fully using the advantages of these times; whether the sons were worthy of their fathers; whether what wo have inherited is being rightly developed.”
