AIARRIAGE AT ST. PETER’S CHURCH.

A very pretty wedding was celebrated on Wednesday afternoon at St. Peter’s Church, Willis street, when Mr L. A. Teutenberg, of the Native Department, was married to Alias Alice Warren, elder daughter of Air A. AVarrcn, of Wellington. The ceremony was performed by Archdeacon Harper. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a very becoming gown of ivory taffetas draped with ninon. and pearls. Her tulle veil was prettily arranged over a wreath of orange blossoms, and a shower bouquet of beautiful sweet peas and maidenhair fern was carried. In attendance were Aliss Aluriel Swain, of Napier, who wore a dress of pale blue voile with Oriental embroideries, and a hat of white silk straw- with pale pink roses; and Aliss Irene Warren, sister of the bride, who looked very pretty as a flower girl, wearing a white silk frock with guipure lace, and a wreath of daisies in her hair. Air Fritz Castcndyk jvas the best man. Airs Warren, who‘wore a gown of grey silk poplin with floral trimming and a small hat with pink and white ostrich feathers, received the guests later at Godber’a .rooms, Cuba street. Later Mr and Airs Teutenberg left for Rotorua and Auckland on their wedding trip, the bride’s travelling dress being a black and white tailor-made, worn with a saxo blue Tagel straw/ hat trimmed with roses. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a necklace of pearls and aquamarines, and to the bridesmaids pretty pendants and chains. Mr and Airs Teutenberg were the recipients qf many beautiful presents, including some silver plate from tho Native Department officers, with whom they have both been so long ' connected.
