La Reina and.Bleriot, with the assistance of Waiorewa over the last mile, ran twelve furlongs in 2min filsec (the last round in 2min 7 3-osec), La Reina pleasing - most. Stardancer, who nad-the best of the weight, was going easier than AVarstep over six furlongs, run in Imin 21sec. Jack Do laval was restricted to steady pacing. Firs,t. Flight showed better than. Glenfinnan at the end of five furlongs, run iit Imin. 53-ssec —the fastest gallop of the morning. Merry floe, under a strong pull to keep with Self and Ovation, ran six furlongs in Imin 22 >ssec. Marsa, alone, went five Biltongs in imin Saec, . and Stevedore finished better than at the end of a mile in Imin 54sec. Sir Solo was not bustled to get six furlongs in Imm . 262-sseo. Soultikoff, Prince Merriwee, and Marconi finished in that order at the end of a mile and a quarter in 2min232-ssee (the last round in 2min-101-ssec). Marshal McDonald beat Jolie Fill© over a mile and acjusrtcr in 2min 20 2*o9€C, Inst round in 2min 7 l-Sseo. Hymettius galloped five furlongs in Imin Bseo. Potoa. with the assistance of Hmerewa over the last six furlongs, ran a mile and a-Balf in 2min 53 2-sseo (the last round in 2min 9 4-ssec). The C up hors© was not doing his best. Has* kayn© ran,' a mil© in 1-min 54 l-S&eu, Beldame six furlongs in 20 3-fiseo, and Hyettus and Banian wore together at the end of the same distance, covered in Imin 21 3-ssec. " Chime and Soltano finished on terms at the end of four furlongs, run in Slsec. Balboa, The Hague, and Moddite were together two lengths in front of St. Francis over four furlongs in 52 4-sseo. Witched, Phroso, and North-East finished in a bunch nt the end of a mile and aquartor in 2min 22sec, while Fabrikoff was going better than Intelligible at the end of five furlongs in Imin 10 l-sSeo. Denise Onne heat Silver Shield over six furlongs in' Imin 21 3-ssec, and Lady Menschikoff gave Sir Malt a break and beat him • over six furlongs in Imin 20 3-sseo (the latter talcing Imin 21 2-sseo). After breakfast Spalfish beat Field Force over five furlongs from the new post in Imin 6 4-sscc. Goldsize ran six ip Imin 19 3-ssec. Tamainupo was too good for Prestwich over seven furlongs, run in Imin 37soc. Worcester heat Gloy over a mile from the new post- in Imin 48 4-ssec. Troy was a length in front of Gold Necklet at the end of five furlongs from tho new post in 1 min 7sec. Wee Olga went a round in 2min 4sec—the heat of the morning —but was very lame after working. Blue Garments. Vestal, and Chance Shot were schooled over'five hurdles. Tho first-named lost its rider at tho first fence, Murtagh getting a nasty shaking. Regain and Nukuhau were set a similar task, both jumping well; as did Dawn, Poictiers, and Sesame. Hauera was schooled over the big fences, giving a good display. Merriraax and Cloudy Dawn jumped five hurdles in good style. T. Quinlivan has arrived with Sea Pink, Culprit, Cheddar, Tatterley, and Good-night. Tho hurdle mare Wai* putero also put m an appearance.
