In the circular it is stated that it has beendecided that all cheese consigned to Wellington for shipment will be placed in this store far examination, check-weighing and stamping. This will bring tlio grading of cheese at Wellington into lino with tho methods adopted at Auckland, New Plymouth, Patca, Wanganui, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and thus -•nablo the work to be carried out on a much better principle than heretofore. For tho future, cheese awaiting shipment, or stored at this port, will bo cared for in a manner which in th® past had been impossible, owing to lack of proper accommodation. The charges which dairy companies will have to pay the board for the use of the store will be at the rate of 3s per ion. Up till the present, and ever »inco grading commenced, the expense involved for this work had been borne by the Government. It is pointed out that tho improved facilities provided by the hoard will more than compensate for an additional outlay on the part of tho dairy companies-
