GREAT GATHERING IN LONDON. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, October 21. There was a great gathering at the Navy League’s banquet in honour of Trafalgar Day. The Earl of Selborno proposed the toast of “The Immortal Memory of. Nelson,” and Lord Brassoy “The Imperial Forces.” To the latter toasfe Captain Muirhoad Collins (private secretary to the High Commissioner for Australia) aud Major Sir Thomas Robinson (Agent-General for Queens* land) responded. Lord. Sydenham, cne-timo Governor of Victoria and later of Bombay, proposed “The Dominions.” The Hon* Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand) and Mr Mcßnda (Victorian Minister for Alines) replied. There was an enthusiastic celebration of Trafalgar Day at tho Town Hall, Sir George Reid, High Commissioner in London for the Australian Commonwealth, delivered the following message to Australia from Field-Mar-shal Lord Kitchener, British Agent in Egypt; “I have been ■watching carefully your military achievements since I left, and am more than pleased.
