NEW ZEALANDERS ON TOUR LATEST AIAIL NEWS. LONDON, September 18. Mr John Roberts, C.M.G., of Dunedin, was in London last week, and is now on a visit to Scotland. He sails for New Zealand on October 22nd. Air N. N. Bealey. of Canterbury, has been spending the summer partly at St. Margaret’s, near Dover, arid partly in Scotland. He is now in London for a few months. The Rev. H. F. Tracey, who has for some time past held the position of Vicar of Dartmouth, has resigned in order to go out to New Zealand, where he has many friends and relative*. Since arriving in England in Alay, Air IV. G. Evans, of Hawke’s Bay, has toured extensively in Scotland and North Wales, and has played in several open tennis tournaments. Ho and Air H. B. Hindle, of Auckland, are at present in London, and intend visiting Paris this week. Airs Francis Stevens, of Wellington. and her grandchild, Doris Stevens, who arrived in England in May, have been travelling with relatives in Devon, Cornwall, Warwickshire and Ireland. They will visit tho Continent before returning to New Zealand at the end of the year. Airs Stevens, who came to Europe on account of her health, is already much stronger. New Zealanders shortly expected in this country include tho following:— Air P. Burbidgo, Wellington; Dr and Airs AV. McGavin, AA’ellington, Air C. D. Pritchett, AVellington; Air W. Harold Atkinson, Waiau; Air and Mrs J. F. Studholme, Taihape; Air and Airs Lees, Lower Hutt; Air and Mrs Monckton, Otaki; Aliss Foljambe, New Plymouth; and Aliss Rathbone, Wellington. Air and Airs J. Watson, of Port Chalmers, arrived in England a fortnight ago, after having visited tho United States and Canada. They left for a month in Scotland last week, (then pay a visit to Paris, and join the (Orontes at Toulon in r.ovember. , Air H. S. Berryman, of Stanley ■Downs, Nelson, who arrived in England in June, intends to leave on November Bth by the Tainui. He is at present at Tregoose, Grampound road, 'Cornwall. Air Berryman has been visiting many of the principal agricultural shows, and was impressed with tho keen competition amongst tenant farmers in England, where they seem to be working without adequate reward, all improvements being for the benefit of tho landlord, tho tenant having no security of tenure. Air Berryman has persuaded several young linen, sons of farmers with capital, to emigrate to New Zealand. Some of his relations also are returning with him in November to start farming in New Zealand.
