A reception was held in the Town Hall in honour of the British Parliamentarians. There was a representative assemblage, including Mr Cook (the Federal Premier), Mr Fisher, Mr Watt (Victorian Premier), and Lord Richard Nevill. , Great enthusiasm marked the proceedings.
