PRINCIPAL PRODUCTS

BIG INCREASE IN A YEAR. The quantity and value of the principal products passing through the Customs for export during the year ended June SOth are given in a return just issued by the Agricultural Department. They show that the export for the 1912-13 period was valued at £21,700,476, as against £18,959,997 for the export of the preceding twelve months. The main items of the return afford the following comparison :
