ARTILLERYMAN’S DEATH
WAS HE THROWN OVERBOARD* (Received February 24, 10.15 p.m~> MALTA, February 24. A statement made by Maltese boatmen resulted in the arrest of bluejackets named Payne and Woodcock, belonging to the cruiser Royal Arthur, on a charge of throwing an artilleryman named Hourigan overboard. Hourigan was drowned. The bluejackets admit a quarrel with Hourigan, who, they say, was drunk and fell overboard. ,
