Press Association. AUCKLAND, February 24. A ten-roomed house in St. George’s Bay road, Parnell, was gutted by fire at 10 p.m. The house was occupied by Mrs T. J. Hanna, and was owned by her two sons, Messrs Philyr and Norman Hanna. The house was insured for £6OO with the New Zealand Insurance Company, and the furniture (including a piano insured for £165) was covered for about £6OO in the same office.. BLENHEIM, February 24. Yesterday morning a fire occurred at Mr J. Rollo Sharp’s eleven-roomed residence in High street. By the help of neighbours it was extinguished before the brigade arrived on the scene. About £l2 will cover tho damage done. The insurances are: On the building £6OO and £3OO on the furniture, both ricks being with the Alliance office.
