A FATAL ACCIDENT, LONDON, January 13. Two aviators named MacDonald and Ingles were testing a new biplane at Groenhithe, when the engine exploded and the machine fell into the Thames. Both aviators were drowned. (Received January 14, 9.65 p.m.) LONDON, January 14. Both of the drowned aviators were employed at Vickers’s testing monoplanes. BRITISH FLYING CORPS. LONDON, January 13. A flying corps is being established, with a base at Montrose, Scotland, whence seven aeroplanes are to travel to Aldershot.
