FROM WELLINGTON HOSPITAL DISTRICT. Press Association. LEVIN, January 14. A. meeting of ratepayers of Levin and vicinities held last night considered the advisahlenesa of seeking power to secede from the Wellington Hospital district and join the Palmetston Hospital district, which is closer, more accessible, and cheaper. It was unanimously resolved — “That in the opinion of the meeting it is desirable that Levin borough and the northern portion of the Horowhenua county should bo severed from the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid district, and be attached to Palmerston North, and the respective councils of Levin borough and Horowhenua county are herewith requested to apply to the proper authorities to bring about the delayed change/'
