SERIOUS HOTEL FIRE
NARROW ESCAPE OF INMATES.
CHICAGO, October 24. Fivo hundred hotel guests fled for their lives when a fire broke out in the Morrison and Veley hotels, which adjoin each other. Ad. Wolgast, the pugilist, and Airs Wlo/lgadh were nearly caught in the flames.
Numbers were rescued, screaming, in the firemen’s arms.
One hotel was gutted.
