INDEPENDENCE RECOGNISED BY RUSSIA.

ST. PETERSBURG, October 19.
A special Russian Envoy visited Urga, chief town of Northern Mongolia, and was received in audience by the Kutukta, the deified Lama of the Mongols. The Envoy conveyed to Kutukta the Czar’s recognition of the independence of Northern Mongolia.
