INCREASED REVENUE. STATEMENT BY MINISTER. A statement of tho revenue for the year ending July 31st, 1912, compared with the revenue for last year, was made in the House of Representatives by the Hon. J. Allen (Minister of Finance) yesterday afternoon. The year’s total showed a net increase of 22609,491 on tho revenue for 1911. The total revenue for tho year just closed was =211.169,174, us against -C10,5. r )9,683 bust year. Under different heads, the figures were as follow:

FOUR MONTHS’ FIGURES. A statement of the revenue for the four months ending July 31st, 1912, showed that the not increase over the figures for tho corresponding period of 1911 was 2198,995. The total revenue for tho period was .£3,020,145, against £2,830,150 For the corresponding four months of 1911. Railway revenue increased by .2110,505 and. Customs by .£39,997.
