DEAD WHALE SIGHTED
FBESS ASSOCIATION. GEETMOUTH, August 2The Flora, which left Greymonth yesterday afternoon for Westport, and arrived there last evening, reports haring sighted a huge dead whale 70 fcot long and standing out 7 feet above tho water. The captain Informed the liarbor authorities here by telephone that the whale is in the track of shipping, and when sighted was off Batrytown. '
