AFRICA SHARES IN THE COST. (Received August 1, 9.55 p.m.) LONDON, August 1. It is announced that the South African Government will assume responsibility for a share of tho cost of an Empire system of wireless stations. 1 will establish a high-powef duplex station at Pretoria, costing ultimately placing the Administration in constant communication with Britain and Australia.
