"The New Zealand Times” guarantees the amount of prize-money for this competition, and in consideration, reserves the right, should the amount be exceeded, to retain the difference towards expenses. The Editor cannot hold himself liable in respect of any entry where coupons or remittances are delayed or lost in transit. . Competitors must send in their attempts so as to reach “The New Zealand Times” Office not later than 3rd August, 1912. Results will be published in “The New Zealand Times” on the following Saturday, 10th August. Address envelope thus: —Editor, "New Zealand Times,” Box ’731, Wellington.
