FLAX WORKERS.
MANY WITHDRAW FROM, FEDERATION OF LABOR. PBIBB ASSOCIATION. ' PALMERSTON NORTH, July 80. Ab the outcome of the recent halfyearly meeting of the Flax Workers’ Association it is regarded as practically certain that that body will withdraw from the Federation of Labor, at a special meeting to be held at the beginning of September, thus following the example of the dairy workers. At Saturday’s meeting the flax_ workers would not hear the federation delegates, but did hear Mr Robertson, M.P., and rejected the federation candidate for the presidency. ,
