ENGLISH BY-ELECTIONS
UNIONIST CANDIDATE FOR MANCHESTER.
LONDON, July 29. Sir John S. Randles has been selected as the Unionist candidate to oppose Mr Hewart (Liberal) at North-west Manchester, vacant through the resignation of Sir George Kemp. Sir John Randles, an ironmaster, formerly represented the Cockermouth division of Cumberland in the House of Commons.
