WAISI, July 29. The Conciliation Commissioners (Messrs f. R. Triggs and P. Hally), who arrived on Saturday, in connection with the strike, aro to-day engaged making inquiries. and will report tho result to the Government. The "Inangahua Times" reports that At a meeting of the miners’ union yesterday tho fourth weekly report from the federation secretary was most optimistic. It showed that support was coming from Australia iu far greater degree than indicated in tho cables, and the outlook for the striking and iockedout men was most hopeful.
