PORTUGUESE ROYALISTS
AN EXEMPLARY SENTENCE. LISBON, July 28. Jao Almeida, a Royalist, has been sentenced to six years’ solitary confinement for participating in the late rebellion. Following this sentence, he will be deported for ten years, or, alternatively, serve twenty years in a fortress.
