OOOUPIER OP GAMING HOUSE. TOUR PATRONS ALSO PENALISED. The result of the raid made on 131 a, Taranaki street, on Sunday evening was the appearance before Mr W. G. Riddell. 6.M., at the Magistrate’s Court yesterday of George Goo, occupier of the promises, who was charged with keeping a common gaming house. Ah. Bow, Richard Davis, George Reius, and Leonard Price were also arraigned on charges of being found in a common gaming house. Mr P. J. O’Regan appeav«l for George Gee and Mr W. Perry for Davis. All the defendants pleaded guilty with the 'Exception of Ah Bow. Senlor-Sorgeant Rutledge stated that when the police entered the place pak-a-poo was being played by the defendants. While the examination was being made Ah Bow entered by tho back door. Ah Bow said he only went to the premises to see somebody. Sub-Inspector Sheehan declared that recently rive plain clothes men went to the house and obtained tickets.

George Gee was fined .£ls, and tho other defendants JH each. Ah Bow, in addition, was ordered to pay 10s fid interpreter's fee.
