STRIKERS PROSECUTED
SYDNEY WHARF LABOR TROUBLE
(Received July 25, 9.80 p.m.). SYDNEY, July 25. Sirty-seven wharf laborers employed on the North Coast Company’s wharf, who were involved in last week’s strike, were charged in the Arbitration Court with participating in a strike to enforce the company's compliance with a demand not to‘employ sailors in the holds of the steamer Burringbar. The company claimed that its agreement with the wharf laborers permitted such employment. In the first case the court found that the man charged had not participated in the strike, and'he was discharged. The'other cases were adjourned.
