Present indications (5 p.m. Tuesday) are for strong easterly winds, with cold showery and changeable weather, especially on the east coast. The barometer will probably rise for a short time in the north, but fall everywhere after from 20 to 24 hours for a westerly low pressure area, which is due to pass in the south at the end of the week.
