HARRIERS
CROSS-COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP. Tho chief race of the local Harrier season will be run at Palmerston North today. The race —the Wellington Provincial Cross-Country Championship has attracted an entry of eight teams (53 competitors). Competition between the harrier clubs is at present very keen, and tho present champions, the Brooklyn Club, will have their work cut out to retain tho title. Both the • Mnsterton and the Foilding clubs are expected to show up well. Those expected to run prominently are —F. J. Burrell (8.H.). C. Murray (8.H.); J. Edelston (F.H.), C. Hodson (8.H.),* J. Bradbury (M.H.), F. J. Byrne (8.H.), and J. Neal (P.N.H.).
