EASTBOURNE BOROUGH

At a meeting of the Eastbourne Borough Council on Saturday tho Mayor (Mr It. W. Short) and Councillors Button, Morris,. Boss, Bussell, and Wills wore present.

A request was received for a bridge over a large open ditch near Mario street, but it was decided that the work could not be undertaken at present. It was decided to take steps to cure the sand-drifts in : Niknu street.
