WRESTLING
Lovers of wrestling will be sure to muster in. force at the Bijou Theatre to-night where a match which should prove exceptionally interesting is on take place. The well-known Wellington wrestler, Ed. Lenauze, has undertaken to pin - fall Donald Eeeday, of H.M.S. Pioneer, four times within the hour, and to do it he will have to show some exceedingly clever and fast work. Tho Wellington athlete is to turn the beam at 13st 81b, and Eeeday at list. Despite tho difference in weight the contract set Lenauze is an exceedingly stiff one, and there is sure to be keen interest shown as to whether he can do it. Tho sailer holds the position of champion middleweight of the Australian squadron and has a long series of successes to his credit. He comes from Lancashire, tho homo of wrestling, and is said to be as active as a cat and a difficult man to beat, so there should he something doing while tho match, which is for £25 a side, is on- Another good bout should bo seen, as W. Gilliland has undertaken to give .£5 to anyone .who stays with him on the mat for ten minutes. This has been taken up by Dickenson, and wo ought to see a very willing go. A number of bouts between sailors from the warship and other items will also bo on the programme, so that a good evening's sport seems, certain.
