EQUAL TOLLS FOR ALL SHIPS. LONDON, July 18. The Washington correspondent of “The Times ” states that the Government will-accept Britain’s interpretation of the Hay-Pauncefote Treaty and will impose equal tolls on American and foreign ships. SENATE DISCUSSION. WHAT A HAGUE DECISION MIGHT MEAN. . (Received July 19, 10.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, July 19. Senator Frank B. Dranflegee, president of the Senate Canal Committee, stated yesterday that the tolls question need not retard the rote on the administrative features of the Panama Bill. He submitted to the Senate an estimate showing that foreign ships would pay about 10,000,000 dollars per annum in tolls. Senator Stone showed that if Tho Hague Tribunal decided against tho United States the latter would bo compelled to refund 45,000,000 dollars to foreign shipowners.
