Mr Wilson, Trade Commissioner from, Hull, has been greatly struck by the phenomenal progress made by Australia. Australian producers must, he says, wake up to the fact that another port besides London is, required for their produce, otherwise a- glut will spoil the market. There axe 30,000,000 people outside'London’s area of distribution who would be better and more cheaply reached from Hull and other outports.
