* CAUSE OF ENGINE-BOOM EXPLOSION. Illy Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright ADELAIDE, December 9. The Marine Board found that the explosion on the steamer City of Lincoln had been caused by the defective And neglected nature of a stop-valve. Such valves, the board held, should bo specially designed with an exceptional factor for safety. No one connected with tho ship was in any manner blameworthy for the mishap.
