GERMAN PAPERS ATTEMPT TO AROUSE IT. By Telcerapli—Press Association— Oopyrlyhk, (Received December 10, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, December 9. “The Times” Berlin correspondent mentions {he scandalous conduct of several newspapers in publishing a Leipzig telegram alleging! that the absolutely secret trial of Schultz, the British subject accused of espionage, disclosed an elaborate scheme of tho British Admiralty to collect details of German warships. The object is to arouse Anglophobism at tho elections. Another correspondent states that the Conservatives do not dare to conspicuously advocate an increase in tho navy owing to popular feeling.
