Tbe Coal Conciliation Board of the federated districts of Great Britain discussed the question of a minimum day’s wage. It adjourned till December 18th, without decision. BRITISH RAILWAYMEN. CONFERENCE ON COMMISSION’S REPORT. (Received December 8, 9.40 p.m.) LONDON, December 8. The conference to discuss the Railway' Commission’s report opened yesterday, and is resuming to-day. OWNERS AND MINERS TO CONFER. (Received December 8,- 10.20 p.m.) LONDON, December 8. The coalmine owners and the miners’ delegates will meet in conference on December 19th to consider the minimum wage question from a national standpoint. GERMAN METAL-WORKERS. LOCK-OUT ENDED. BERLIN, December 7. The metal-woikers’ ballot' lacked the requisite majority in favour of continuing the strike, and the Idck-out, of several weeks’ duration, has ended.
