ABORS EXPEDITION
GALLANT EXPLOIT BY GURKHAS. By Telegraph—Press Aasoclallon —CopyrhrhV CALCUTTA, December 6. Three hundred Gurkhas, part of the British punitive expedition against the Abors for the murder of Mr Williamson, a political agent, and others, made a perilous crossing of a river. Owing to a rapid, rafts had to be constructed of waterproof hags filled with straw. i After a night-long march the Gurkhas outflanked the Abors and took a stockade at Kekarmonying. The Abors fled to the jungle.
