DE BEERS COMPANY’S CLAIM IN RHODESIA. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, December 4. The Judicial Committee of the House of Lords allowed the De Beers Diamond Company’s appeal, and declared the company’s exclusive license to be legal. Hr Justice Eo-dy, in the Chancery Divisi on of the High Court of Justice, heard tho case Do Beers Diamond Company t. the British. South African Company, in February last year. The plaintiffs claimed all diamonds found in Ebodesia. The Judge gave judgment for the defendants, ■with costs, holding that the agreement giving tho De Beers Company an exclusive license to work dlamondiforous ground in Rhodesia was void. The Do Beers Company then took the case to the House of .Lords.
