A Magefficemit PM® cHesiigimedl ,lby Edmumdl Amcomlb®, ArcMtedt, Dtuumsdliim The above perspective shows a work of architecture both dignified and imposing. Inspection of the drawings shows that there are many features worthy of special notice.- The design of the chambers is modelled on the lines of tho 'Washington one, with open galleries absolutely free from columns,' while good cross ventilation may be had. Tho suites of rooms for Ministers appear to have been very carefully thought out and are most complete. Ample provision is shown in the unobstructed thoroughfares for the successful carrying out of State functions, etc. The method adopted by the architect for keeping the inner light court areas always flushed with fresh air is particularly good, while simplicity and perfect balance of the whole plan are especially noticeable. Ample provision is made in this design for future extensions, both to the, library and Bellamy wings. ..
