THE CARLA REFLOATED.

TRESS ASSOCIATION. WANGANUI, October 10. The barquentine Carla was refloated this morning, and towed over the bar and beached on the riverside, about a mile inside the harbour, where she will be examined and repaired. She is of 350 tons burden, and when coal laden from Newcastle w r as abandoned by the crow four weeks ago, on a stormy night, four miles oh Wanganui Heads. Subsequently she dragged her anchors and went ashore on the sea beach, four miles ndrtli of the bar, whore the underwriters abandoned her and Hatrlck and Co. bought her and cargo at auction for £390. Anchors were put out, sea pumps got to work, and the Harbour Board tug hauled her off this morning and safely brought her into the river.
