BOWLING
THE NORTHERN A SSOCIATION. Tho annual meeting of the Northern Bowling Association was hc-ld last evening, Mr J. S. .Keith, president, being in the chair. In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet (previously published) the chairman expressed a wish that when the association celebrated its twenty-first anniversary there would be a united flag for the whole of the Dominion, or at any rate for the whole of tho associations of the North Island. The committee had journeyed to Christchurch a few weeks ago in connection with ifho suggested amalgamation between tho Northern Association and the Now Zealand Association, The result ■was shown in tho report. It would be unwise for him to criticise at this stage, and ho would leave it as it was in tne report. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. Tho election o’f officers resulted: President, Air J. S. Keith; vice-president, Air Mauric6 Casey (Auckland); hon. auditor, Air H. F. Allen; secretary and treasurer, Air J. J. Roberts.
The T 913 tournament was lixed to open on Monday, January Bth, in The president, secretary and Mr 1 Brunskill were appointed a subcommittee to draw up tho a tournament programme.
